Masterpiece of the commercial vehicle created with technical prowess and exquisite design
To become the life-long business partner of customers,
Tata Daewoo is making its utmost effort to make high quality vehicles by making a large-scale
facility investment as well as keeping production lines in the best condition.

  • Body Shop

01 It is the first process that makes the exterior of the cab for MAXEN, KUXEN and NOVUS.

Thirty welding robots do welding 3,000 times, manufacturing 80% of the vehicle body.
Completely welded cabins are transferred by an overhead conveyor to the paint shop.

  • Paint Shop

02 It is the process that paints cabs.

The paint shop consists of 36 processes, out of which the Full Dipping-based ED coating is applied to prevent rust. We use an incineration equipment to purify polluted air and apply special treatment to contaminated water for separation.
Painted cabs are transferred by a floor conveyor to the assembly shop.

  • Frame Shop

03 It is the process that assembles and complete the frame.

We produce different variants of vehicles efficiently by consistently updating information necessary to make frames.

  • Assembly Shop

04 It is the process that assembles completed cabs, frames and key aggregates such as engines.

LD shop consists of 5 trim lines and 13 chassis lines. The main MCV/HCV plant in Gunsan is comprised of 23 trim lines and 18 chassis lines where highly-skilled operators assemble vehicles carefully and thoroughly.

  • Final Shop

05 It is the final process that assembles the upper structures for vehicles like dumps or mixers and that performs a quality inspection.

Completely assembled vehicles go through precision tests, such as for water leak and braking, and final quality inspections. We perform a waterproofing test which sprays drizzle-like water on Prima for five minutes and on other vehicles with a high-dome cabin for 20 minutes.

  • Training Center

06 The training center provides both a training place and a simulation place. In the training place, customers can see and touch parts while being trained. In the simulation place, we can simulate the model cabin which looks the same as that of the actual vehicle.

Once vehicles are tested for driving and washing is complete, the vehicles equipped with delivery items will be delivered to the customer.
