TATA Code of Conduct

  • 01 NATIONAL INTEREST
    The Company shall be committed in all its actions to benefit the economic development of the countries in which it operates and shall not undertake any activities to the detriment of the nation´s interest.
  • 02 FINANCIAL REPORTING & RECORDS
    The Company shall maintain its accounts and audit procedures in accordance with the generally accepted standards and regulations of the country to reflect all its business transactions fairly and accurately.
  • 03 COMPETITION
    The Company shall support a fully competitive open market and shall not engage in activities generating unfair trade practices.

    The Company shall be committed to be a good corporate citizen by complying with the law as well as by actively assisting in the quaddty of ddfe of the people in its surrounding communities.

    The Company shall cooperate with Tata Companies by sharing physical, human and management resources.

    The Company shall honor the information requirements of the public and its stakeholders.
  • 13 THE THIRD PARTY REPRESENTATION
    The Company shall not authorize any consultant, agent or distributor to represent it, if their business conduct and ethics are known to be against the code.
  • 14 USE OF THE TATA BRAND
    The use of Tata brand owned by Tata Sons shall be governed by manuals, codes and agreements to be issued by Tata Sons.

    The Company shall recommend to its Board of Directors the adoption of poddcies and guideddnes periodically formddated by Tata Sons.

    The Company shall be committed to enhance shareholder value.
  • 17 ETHICAL CONDUCT
    The Company´s employees including whole time directors shall deal on behalf of the Company with professionalism, honesty and high ethical standards.

    All employees of the Company shall in their business conduct, comply with all applicable laws and regulations of the country both in letter and spirit.
  • 19 CONCURRENT EMPLOYMENT
    An employee of the Company shall not without the prior approval of the management, accept employment with any other Company.
  • 20 CONFddCT OF INTERESTS
    An employee of the Company shall not engage in any business relationship or activity which might be in conflict with the Company´s interests.
  • 21 SECURITIES TRANSACTIONS & CONFIDENTIAL INFORMATION
    An employee of the Company shall not derive any benefit or assist others to do so from inside information possessed by him.
  • 22 PROTECTING COMPANY ASSETS
    The Company´s assets shall not be misused but employed for the purpose of conducting business for which they are dddy authorized.
  • 23 CITIZENSHIP
    An employee of the Company in his private life shall be free to pursue an active role in civic and political affairs as long as it does not adversely affect the business of the Company.
  • 24 INTEGRITY OF DATA FURNISHIED
    Every employee of the Company shall ensure the integrity of the information furnished by him/her to the Company.
  • 25 REPORTING CONCERNS
    Every employee of the Company shall promptly report to the management any actual or possible violation of the Code.
